OUR RESEARCH
Do you have COPD or care/support someone with COPD?
We want to learn more about COPD and the impact that it has on your day-to-day quality of life.
Not only are we interested in you, as someone who experiences COPD every day of the week, but also the person that cares or supports you (i.e. your partner/wife/husband).
Topics that will be covered:
* Demographics such as occupation, medication & smoking habits
* Exploring how COPD negatively impacts you -
- Physiologically (i.e. how it affects your lungs) for example breathlessness and coughing
- Psychologically (i.e. the mind) for example depression/anxiety, compassion and isolation
We aim to create an intervention that can hopefully increase your quality of life, through conducting further research on the physiological (i.e. lungs) and psychological (i.e. the mind) effects of COPD for both yourself and your loved one/carer.
How can you get involved in this project?
Participation in the project involves filling in a variety of questionnaires online, which will take between 25 - 35 minutes.
